Citadel Source is delighted to be partnering with a well-established and highly regarded client in Cheltenham, who is seeking an experienced and hands-on Operations Finance Lead to join their fast-paced business.

About You

You will have previous experience in a similar finance operations role, with strong knowledge of both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes. You will also have experience managing or mentoring junior team members and be confident working within a high-volume finance environment.

Ideally, you will have previous experience using QuickBooks and possess strong Excel skills. You will be proactive, adaptable and capable of integrating quickly into a busy business environment.

The Role

This position requires someone who can hit the ground running, manage complex and high-volume finance processes, and provide accurate and timely reporting to support the wider business. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic organisation and play a key role in supporting the day-to-day finance function.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the Accounts Payable function, including the supervision of one direct report.
Produce weekly reports for the Senior Management Team.
Oversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes, including invoicing activities.
Complete reconciliations and prepare creditor and debtor reports.
Manage payment runs, ensuring compliance with payment terms, cash flow requirements and approval controls.
Maintain strong supplier relationships and resolve finance-related queries.
Support, mentor and develop a junior team member.
Work effectively within a high-volume and complex finance environment.
