Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering excellent customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring guests enjoy their experience. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness standards, and engaging with patrons to promote a positive environment. Previous restaurant experience and strong organisational skills are highly valued. Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards and legal requirements.
• Greet guests warmly and take drink orders accurately, providing recommendations when appropriate.
• Ensure all drinks are prepared efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the point-of-sale system efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Monitor guest behaviour and ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with licensing laws.
• Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts.
• Engage with guests to create a friendly atmosphere, promoting repeat business and positive reviews.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or bar environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
• Strong knowledge of hospitality principles and excellent customer service skills.
• Understanding of food safety standards relevant to beverage service.
• Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Proven ability to manage time effectively during busy periods.
• Friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills.
