BeyondAutism is seeking a dedicated Qualified Teacher for an onsite role in London. You will deliver high-quality, personalized special education to learners with autism. This role offers an M1 - M6 salary range alongside competitive employer-matched pension contributions up to 5%.

Job Overview

  • Job Title: Qualified Teacher
  • Salary: M1 - M6 pay scale
  • Location: London (Full-time onsite)
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm
  • Contract Type: Full-time, part-time, or term-time only

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, planned special education sessions.
  • Plan personalized curriculum activities and targets.
  • Integrate behavior and therapy strategies into lessons .
  • Collaborate daily within a transdisciplinary school team .
  • Lead, guide, and coach classroom support staff .
  • Maintain records of learner progress and assessments .
  • Uphold strict child protection and safeguarding standards .

Essential Requirements

  • Qualifications: UK recognized Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience: Proven experience working within SEND or autism settings .
  • Skills: Strong curriculum planning and assessment practice .
  • Knowledge: Understanding of the UK National Curriculum .
  • Vetting: Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience working in a transdisciplinary team.
  • Mentoring or classroom coaching experience .
  • Knowledge of the Attention Autism approach .
  • Experience using ABA or VB teaching methods.

Pay: £40,317.00-£52,300.00 per year
