Full job description
Activity Co-ordinator position is available (25 hours per week to start, Monday to Friday).
Kindness will be at the core of everything you do, you will:
To assisting in organising and participating in key events held
throughout the year, summer fates, seasonal celebrations and parties.
Plan and deliver are varied activities program inside and outside the Care
Home from organised hobbies to group events. All of which will promote
independence, choice and dignity for our residents.
Motivate and inspire our residents, getting to know them as individuals,
their interests, life stories and their families.
Support residents and family meetings, creatively gain feedback from
residents, their families and staff team to ensure all activities are relevant
and meet the residents needs and choices
Develop a Newsletter every three months incorporating up and coming
events.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED
Genuine interest in working within a caring environment
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
Team player
Willingness to participate in Vocational Training Programmes
DESIRED
Relevant Vocational Qualification (achieved / working towards)
Experience of working with the relevant Client group
