We are looking for a motivated, organised, and ambitious Business Administration Apprentice to join our growing operations team in Irlam, Greater Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience within a fast-growing IT recycling and environmental services company while working towards a recognised Business Administration apprenticeship qualification.

As a Business Administration Apprentice, you will support a range of departments including operations, compliance, customer service, logistics, and sales administration. You will develop practical office administration skills, customer communication experience, and operational knowledge within the IT recycling and environmental compliance sector.

This apprenticeship role is ideal for someone seeking a long-term career in business administration, office support, operations coordination, logistics, customer service, or compliance administration.

Key Responsibilities

As part of the administration and operations team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing day-to-day administrative support across operations, sales, compliance, and customer service departments
  • Answering incoming telephone calls and responding to customer enquiries professionally and efficiently
  • Processing customer paperwork, service records, collection bookings, and operational documentation
  • Maintaining accurate digital filing systems, spreadsheets, and internal company databases
  • Assisting with scheduling IT equipment collections and coordinating transport logistics
  • Preparing reports, customer documentation, and administrative records
  • Supporting environmental compliance administration relating to WEEE regulations, secure IT disposal, and data destruction processes
  • Assisting with invoicing, order processing, and general office administration duties
  • Liaising with customers, suppliers, transport providers, and internal departments
  • Handling confidential customer information and secure data destruction records appropriately
  • Supporting continuous improvement of administrative processes and office efficiency
  • Contributing to a professional, organised, and customer-focused working environment
