We are currently looking for a number of Key Operative roles to join our Zone 2 and Zone 3 teams in Hull on various shift patterns.

Vacancies AM shift - Monday to Friday 06:00 - 14:00

Mixer, Oven, Line Setter, Weight Checker production operatives

This shift has an additional weekly payment of £72.30

Mixer, Weight Checker

Purpose of the Role

  • As a Line Setter, you will be responsible for the setting up of production lines at the beginning of the shift and during shifts when products are changed over.
  • As a Weight Checker, you will be responsible for conducting CCP checks in line with product specifications, in addition to completing traceability paperwork.
  • As a Mixer, you will be responsible for weighing and mixing ingredients in line with product specifications, in addition to completing traceability paperwork.
  • As a Oven Operative, you will be responsible for the baking process in line with product specifications and completion of paperwork in regards to the baking process.

Principle Accountabilities

Achieve set product specifications and line checks ready for lines to start on time.

  • Carry out weight and product checks and completion of process control documents
  • Mixing and baking ingredients as per product specifications
  • Meet targets regarding product quality and waste
  • Promote and adhere to health and safety and hygiene regulations
  • Liaise with production Team Leaders to reduce downtime and maintain efficiency

Experience and Qualifications

  • Must have at least 2 years production experience preferably in a food environment.
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team
  • Team player with effective communication skills
  • Time bound, efficient and attention to detail
  • Previous experience an advantage but not essential
  • Health & Safety and Basic Food Hygiene Certificates
