Domestic Cleaner/Housekeeper

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to high standards.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are stored safely and used efficiently.
• Handle specialised cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning or window washing as required.
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, paper towels, and cleaning products in designated areas.
• Follow health and safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents or contamination.
• Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning routines.
• Ensure all areas are kept organised, tidy, and presentable at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience in janitorial work, commercial cleaning, hotel housekeeping, or similar roles is advantageous.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, tools, and techniques is desirable.
• Basic cooking skills are a plus for roles involving kitchen maintenance or hospitality settings.
• Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with clients or guests when necessary.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to schedules.
