Customer Service Advisor – Courier & Logistics
Location: Bristol
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00 or 09:00 – 18:00

The Role
We are looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join our busy Bristol-based team. Reporting to the Customer Services Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring excellent service delivery, maintaining strong customer relationships, and supporting the smooth operation of our courier services.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in a fast-paced, business-to-business customer service environment who enjoys problem-solving and delivering a high standard of communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling inbound calls from customers, depots, and drivers
- Providing quotations to both existing and prospective customers
- Identifying customer requirements and recommending appropriate services
- Booking collections and deliveries over the telephone
- Managing customer queries and escalating issues where required
- Liaising closely with the operations team to maintain service performance
- Coordinating with external service providers
About You
We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and committed to delivering excellent customer service at all times.
You will have:
- Previous experience in a telephone-based customer service role (B2B preferred)
- Strong communication skills, both phone and email
- A confident and professional manner
- Good problem-solving ability and attention to detail
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask
- Good IT skills and confidence in learning new systems
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications
Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in customer service (B2B essential)
- Experience within the courier, logistics, or parcels industry is advantageous
- GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above) preferred
- Customer service qualifications are beneficial but not essential
Pay: £28,730.00 per year
