Full-Time role available | 35- 40 hours per week | Wednesday to Sunday | starting at £13.45 per hour (5am Start)

Nine years on, we serve Edinburgh, the Lothians, and Glasgow seven days a week, supplying hundreds of cafes, restaurants, caterers, shops and homes, in addition to having our very own café in Musselburgh.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and self-driven individual to be our new Delivery Driver. This role offers independence and the opportunity to be an integral part of our delivery team. Each morning, you’ll be responsible for delivering our products to wholesale customers in Edinburgh and Lothian, ensuring timely and friendly service. . This role will support our introduction of our savoury product range so will be core to the growth of this service.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate drop-offs to maintain customer satisfaction. This includes the use of a delivery app where delivery notes and crate uplift is logged with photographs and signatures.
• Load and unload bakery products carefully, ensuring they arrive in pristine condition.
• Conduct routine inspections of the delivery vehicle.
• Uphold a high level of professionalism and represent the company positively in all interactions.

Requirements

• Must be over 25.
• Valid driver’s licence (held for a minimum of 5 years) and clean driving record.
• Previous experience as a delivery driver
• Experience driving electric vans is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to lift and carry products of various weights.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable and prompt to shifts.
• Ability to commute to Eskmills Venue in Musselburgh for the start of the shift.

Schedule & Availability

• Full time. Wednesday to Sunday.
• Shifts start at 5AM and finish around 12PM.

Starting rate of pay £13.45 per hour.
