Surveyor (Conservatories, Single-Storey Extensions, Windows & Doors)

SolarFrame Direct is Yorkshire’s leading manufacturer, distributor and installer of home improvement products.

This role requires you to be comfortable taking accurate measurements, creating drawings for foundations and base, walls, frames and the roof system. You will also be advising our teams of builders and installers on the best way to tackle the task. You will need a wide knowledge of the domestic construction industry, along with the associated building regulations.

As part of the role you will be expected to be competent at measuring for the fabrication of single-storey extensions, conservatories, windows and doors.

You will also be responsible for assessing risks on site, including selecting the appropriate generic risk assessments, and carrying out site specific risk assessments - considering factors such as working at height and asbestos.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting accurate, high-quality surveys for windows, doors, and conservatories
• Ensuring all installations meet building regulations and customer expectations
• Working closely with installation teams to ensure seamless projects
• Representing the company professionally on-site and in customers’ homes

An NVQ or MTC Qualification in Surveying would be desirable along with a knowledge of relevant Building and FENSA Regulations.
