Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Trainee Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a customer-focused approach, ensuring that all tenants receive exceptional service while maintaining the property to the highest standards. This role requires a blend of administrative expertise and interpersonal skills, making it essential for the successful management of our properties.
Main Duties and Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for tenant liaison and coordination, responding promptly to inquiries, concerns, and variation requests
- Facilitate clear, respectful, and solution-oriented communication with tenants to ensure a positive working partnerships with tenants is maintained with guidance from the property team.
- Conduct regular site visits/property inspections for service delivery quality control and to maintain tenants’ relationships
- Provide any required assistant in liaising with our FM partner to ensure the service delivery meets the high standards expected.
- Collaborate with the relevant parties to advise of subcontractor attendances and access requirements.
- Assist with providing Property Services in accordance with Lease and associated documentation to include an understanding of our contractual obligations within the Lease.
- Support in the monitoring of reactive and pre-planned maintenance work, ensuring completion within contractual timeframes.
- Collate building information for the property team to complete auditing, including compliance auditing.
- Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance and renewal requirements, ensure compliance, and assess the overall condition of the properties
- Monitoring and reporting of tenant issues, escalating complaint handling to the Property Manager where necessary to aid in resolving issues promptly and professionally
- Data gathering for the Property Manager to prepare regular and routine reports and audits for relevant stakeholders
- Review documentation and certification for planned maintenance tasks and reactive faults for remedials and compliance.
Experience Requirements
- Previous property management experience beneficial.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Work and Excel packages.
- Good working knowledge of MS SharePoint and Property management databases.
- Experience in generating reports in a detailed, professional manner.
- Experience in analysing information and generating practical solutions to problems.
- Previous experience in a client facing environment where able to demonstrate a client focused attitude.
- Proven experience of professional written communication such as formal letters and e-mails.
- General awareness of H&S legislation and its impact.

Your work will take you into buildings with children and vulnerable adults, therefore you will be asked to complete an enhanced DBS check.
