Role Summary

The Senior Manager at Kiss Restaurant is responsible for leading daily restaurant operations, delivering excellent guest experiences, managing team performance, and ensuring strong financial, service, and compliance standards. This role supports the General Manager or ownership team in driving sales, maintaining brand standards, and creating a professional, efficient, and positive working environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management
Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house coordination. Ensure smooth service, efficient table management, cleanliness, stock control, and adherence to restaurant procedures.

Team Leadership
Lead, train, supervise, and motivate restaurant staff. Support recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, performance reviews, and staff development. Act as a role model for professionalism, teamwork, and customer service.

Guest Experience
Maintain a high standard of hospitality and service. Handle guest feedback, complaints, and special requests in a professional and timely manner. Ensure all guests receive a welcoming and memorable dining experience.

Financial Performance
Support sales growth, cost control, labour management, stock usage, and waste reduction. Monitor daily takings, cash handling, POS procedures, and reporting as required.

Health, Safety, and Compliance
Ensure compliance with food hygiene, health and safety, licensing, fire safety, and company policies. Maintain accurate records and ensure staff follow all legal and operational requirements.

Inventory and Supplier Coordination
Monitor stock levels, place orders where required, check deliveries, and work with kitchen and bar teams to control wastage and maintain product quality.

Standards and Quality Control
Ensure food, drinks, service, presentation, cleanliness, and ambience meet the standards of Kiss Restaurant at all times.

Skills and Experience Required

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a restaurant management or senior supervisory role, strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced hospitality environment. They should be confident managing people, handling customer issues, and supporting business performance.

Pay: £32,948.48-£50,931.73 per year
