Night Carer

You may not have previous experience but just be enthusiastic, caring and really want to make a difference to someone's life. You may have experience, but be disillusioned with your present position. Either way, I would be happy to show you around our lovely and unique care home.

Currently we are looking for spontaneous, warm, loving carers.
Your duties will include preparing breakfast, tea and other snacks, night shift carers will also provide the care needed to assist in ensuring the night runs smoothly by monitoring and attending to people as required through the night. You will be able to identify signs of ill-being and well-being. You will want to give truly person centred care and not be task led. You will go with the flow and live in the moment, and join a team of 4 night staff supporting 33 residents .

You may already be involved in care work or come from a different industry altogether. We are not looking for qualifications but just the 'right' kind of person that wears their heart on their sleeves and really wants to make a difference.

Duties:

• Supporting and assisting with all personal care requirements
• Charting or taking notes for others to review
• Providing companionship and supportive listening
• Observing and reporting any changes in the health or status of the patient
• Preparing meals and feeding patients
• Responding to emergency situations
• Providing support with hobbies, studies, and social activities
