Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Guest Service Agent to join our hospitality team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service to guests, ensuring their stay is comfortable and memorable. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a welcoming demeanour, and a strong understanding of hospitality standards. Fluency in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to our diverse clientele. The Guest Service Agent will be the first point of contact for guests, handling enquiries, reservations, and check-in/check-out procedures with efficiency and courtesy. Successful candidate may will be offered a sponsorship/work permit after successfully completion of probation

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with the check-in and check-out process
  • Manage guest reservations and room assignments accurately using hotel management software
  • Provide information about hotel facilities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience
  • Handle guest enquiries via phone, email, or in person with professionalism and courtesy
  • Address guest concerns promptly and effectively, escalating issues when necessary
  • Maintain a neat and organised reception area to reflect the hotel's standards of hospitality
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Uphold hotel policies regarding guest safety, security, and confidentiality

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hotel or guest services is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills in English; multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and guest service principles is desirable
  • Friendly, approachable manner with a genuine desire to assist guests
  • Flexibility to work shifts as required, including evenings and weekends if necessary
