Job Title: Qualified Dental Nurse

Location: Lanark

Salary: from £13.50 per hour - Higher rates for experienced or additional duties nurses.

Start: Early 2026

We are a friendly, well established 4 surgery practice with a loyal patient base and a supportive team environment. With continued growth and a strong focus on high quality patient care, we are looking for a motivated Dental Nurse to join us.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified nurse or experienced trainee already enrolled on an approved course who is eager to develop their skills within a modern practice.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Chair side assistance for dentists and hygienists
  • Maintaining infection control
  • Preparing surgeries and ensuring equipment is clean, stocked, and well maintained
  • Supporting reception when required
  • Ensuring a smooth patient journey and a positive experience for all
  • Accurate record keeping and following practice protocols

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Dental Nurse (GDC registered) or Trainee Dental Nurse enrolled on an accredited course
  • A positive, professional attitude and strong communication skills
  • Reliability and the ability to work well within a team
  • Confidence in delivering high standards of patient care
  • Willingness to learn and support colleagues
