Full job description

An excellent opportunity has opened up for a friendly, organised and motivated receptionist to join our Shoreham-By-Sea Branch of Quality Dental.

We are a busy, seven surgery practice, providing NHS and Private dentistry, including specialist treatments such as Invisalign and Implants.

Duties of the Dental Receptionist:

  • Perform a high quality reception and administration service to ensure patient satisfaction and maximum contribution to practice efficiency
  • Greet and assist patients with a warm, welcoming attitude
  • Manage appointments, patient records, and taking payments
  • Handle phone and email enquiries professionally
  • Lead Management and new patient coordination
  • Establish and maintain good and productive working relationships with all members of the dental team
  • Liaise with the Practice Manager on all matters concerning administration

Job Type: Full-time

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday - within the hours of 8am - 7pm (41.5 hours per week total)

Some Saturday's 8.45am - 2.45pm (once every 6 weeks)

Requirements of the Dental Receptionist:

  • Dental Reception experience desirable but not essential
  • Experience within a reception or customer service role
  • Strong knowledge of IT and various computer software packages
  • Confident with dealing with different people on a daily basis
  • Work well within a team as well as individually
  • Be able to work on own initiative and under pressure
  • Great organisational skills
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work some evenings and Saturdays
