Role: People & Talent Professional

Contract type: Contract or Permanent (both considered)

Hours: Part-time – approximately 15 hours per week

Location: Onsite – Minstead

About the role:

We are seeking a People & Talent Professional to support our fast-growing, scaling business on a part-time basis. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys building and improving people processes while also being actively involved in talent attraction and recruitment.

You will work closely with the leadership team to ensure our people practices support business growth, culture, and performance. This role offers flexibility and autonomy, making it well suited to someone looking for a meaningful part-time position with real impact.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end talent attraction and recruitment activities, including role scoping, advertising, shortlisting, interviews, and onboarding
  • Own and maintain our HR system and Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring data accuracy and effective use
  • Support core people activities across the employee lifecycle (e.g. onboarding, engagement, performance processes, employee relations support)
  • Advise managers on people-related matters in line with best practice and employment legislation
  • Help develop and improve people policies, processes, and documentation as the business scales
  • Support initiatives that enhance employee experience, culture, and retention

About you

  • Experience across both Talent Attraction/Recruitment and core People/HR activities
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on, operational role within a growing business
  • Confident managing HR systems and ATS platforms
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Pragmatic, organised, and able to work independently

Experience level is flexible – we welcome applications from candidates with varied backgrounds, provided you can demonstrate relevant capability and enthusiasm

What we offer

  • A flexible part-time opportunity (15 hours per week)
  • The chance to shape and influence people practices in a growing organisation
  • A supportive, collaborative working environment
  • Onsite working in Minstead

If you require any reasonable adjustments to support you through the interview process, please let the recruiter know. We are committed to ensuring an inclusive and accessible experience for all candidates.
