The role

Hybrid Location: Manchester or London

Join DCC as an In Life Change Project Manager, where you’ll lead the delivery of complex projects and operational changes that impact millions of energy consumers. This role offers the opportunity to work on mission-critical initiatives, collaborating with internal teams, third-party suppliers, and government stakeholders to shape the future of the UK’s energy infrastructure.

You’ll ensure that changes within the In Life Change portfolio are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards—helping DCC maintain a resilient and secure smart energy network that supports the UK’s Net Zero ambitions.

How you will contribute to transforming energy and shaping the future.

• Manage end-to-end delivery of projects and operational changes, including planning, risk, and issue management.
• Lead and motivate delivery teams, including internal resources and third-party suppliers.
• Maintain credible project plans and ensure adherence to governance frameworks.
• Monitor cost, time, quality, and resource usage, taking corrective action where necessary.
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across internal teams and external regulatory bodies.

Your skills that will enable us to fulfil our purpose:

• Proven experience delivering complex or technical infrastructure projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience in regulated environments.
• Ability to manage third-party commercial relationships and contractual deliverables.
• Previous line management or team leadership experience.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps (or similar tools such as Jira).
