Job Summary
he aim of the role is to work in unison with the other ODM’s to grow the business and ensure that clients, staff and external professionals are positive about iCare Living and that they all have excellent quality service and experience with us. It will be vital to manage existing business and staff to ensure that each area is sustainable, creates a good reputation and that all CQC (and other regulating bodies) requirements are met.

The role will be pivotal in supporting the Registered Manager to ensure that they can work towards maintaining our ‘Good’ rating but while striving for ‘Outstanding’.

You will be responsible in seeking out new business opportunities within your allocated area and outside of your area passing on any leads to the relevant person, create and maintain relationships with commissioners from ICBs, Local Authorities and Case Managers etc

You will excel in customer service, relationship management and actively selling the business to meet your targets and to ensure current business is retained and has an excellent quality of service.

You will be responsible for mobilising new business and ensuring a smooth transition from assessment to recruitment, compliance, training and the start of the package, you will remain heavily involved for at least 6 weeks and then manage a smooth transition to the Complex Care Manager to which you will then oversee as part of your area management.

You will oversee recruitment, compliance & HR issues for new packages /staff and existing packages / staff

You will focus on client and staff retention and be actively involved in complaints and compliments responding and ensuring that lessons learned and good practice are shared across the business.

You will be directly responsible for our Complex Care Managers located within your region and you will have oversight of the Care coordinators and you will manage and support them to get the most out of their roles and ensure they are effective in completing their own tasks.

You will report directly to the Head of Operations and work closely with the other Operations and Development Managers

You will work closely with the clinical team & Senior Nurse to ensure training and competency assessments are up to date and of a good standard and within safe practice.

You will understand the CQC requirements and ensure that we are meeting their standards and will liaise with the Registered manager to promote any improvements that you may identify or in line with new legislation.

You will issue and track your team's KPI’s and you will ensure that they are all fully compliant in their tasks and working in line with their JD’s, company policies and processes.

You will be a trusted face to our clients and other professionals that we work with, and they will know that you are assuring quality at every turn and are always responsive to any concerns, complaints and compliments following our policies and procedures. You will have a sound understanding of safeguarding principles, protecting vulnerable people, keeping them safe and reporting requirements and this will be demonstrated in your day to day practice.
