The Liberty Wines Sales team is growing, and we’re recruiting five new sales representatives across the UK.

As part of our expansion we are looking for someone to drive commercial performance by managing existing accounts and developing new business opportunities in both the On‑trade and Off‑trade sectors across Scotland.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop existing customer accounts to achieve FY budgeted revenue and margin target
  • Develop new business opportunities to achieve FY new business target
  • Sell the Liberty Wines portfolio to the On and Off-trade within designated area
  • Manage sales of specific brands/products to annually agreed targets
  • Manage expenses to budget
  • Act as an ambassador for Liberty Wines
  • Conduct Liberty Wines events such as tastings and tutorials and support customer activity
  • Regularly review Sales vs. Budget report to analyse sales patterns
  • Identify areas of focus and implement strategies to build turnover and profit and develop new business
  • Collate, analyse and summarise monthly performance


About you

  • Ability to sell to and grow accounts in both the On and Off-trade and meeting sales targets
  • Develop new business opportunities to achieve FY new business target
  • Self-motivated with a positive outlook and excellent communication skills
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to deal with administrative tasks efficiently
  • Strong wine empathy and ability to demonstrate wine knowledge, preferably at WSET Diploma level
  • IT proficient including Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Candidates should have experience selling to the On-trade and possess existing industry contacts
