Eventus Recruitment is seeking a Remote Conveyancer on a full time permanent basis to join an established, independently run residential property law specialist. This is a fully remote role offering autonomy, excellent service standards, and a strong culture of values, friendliness, and work life balance. Salary is £40-45k, 26 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension, full administrative and client contact support is provided.

Role Responsibilities

The Remote Conveyancer will be responsible for managing your own caseload of residential conveyancing files from cradle to grave. Cases will include purchase, sales, freehold, and leasehold. The day-to-day job duties within this role include:

• Managing a caseload of 80-90 files with expected completions of 15-20 per month
• Handling and progressing cases from start to finish
• With assistant support liaising with lenders, estate agents, solicitors, Land Registry, and clients to progress cases efficiently
• Conducting title checks for both freehold and leasehold properties
• Contract drafting, preparing exchanges, and managing the completion process
• Ensuring compliance with procedures, quality control, and risk management
• Maintaining excellent client communications and regular updates throughout each transaction
• Working with a legal assistant to facilitate effective client and other stakeholder communications
• Ensuring administrative tasks are completed in a prompt and timely manner

Person Specification

The successful Remote Conveyancer will have previous experience in residential conveyancing being responsible for owning and managing a full life cycle of their caseload. In addition, you will possess the following experience, skills and attributes:

• Minimum 3-5 years fee earning experience in residential conveyancing
• Experience of purchase, sales, freehold, and leasehold cases
• Case experience including shared ownership, right to buy, unregistered land, auctions, or staircasing would be beneficial
• Strong client service orientation with a friendly and clear communication style
• Able to respond to queries promptly and proactively
• Highly organised, able to work autonomously, and manage workload efficiently
• Good technical legal skills including title checking, raising and responding to queries, and contract drafting
• Client focused attitude to provide high levels of client experience levels
• Collaborative team player mindset
