The Wellcome Trust is a global charitable foundation. We improve health for everyone by funding science, leading policy and advocacy campaigns, and building partnerships.
We plan to spend £16bn over the next ten years, funding new discoveries in life, health, and wellbeing, and taking on three global health challenges: mental health, infectious disease and climate and health.
These challenges need the bold science we support, but they won’t be solved by science alone.
We are looking for a Delivery Coordinator to join our Digital & Technology (D&T) Delivery team within our Digital & Technology department.
Where in Wellcome will I be working?
The D&T Delivery team works across the department to ensure high quality and efficient delivery of technology and digital transformation programmes, projects and agile products. We are a team of 12 including delivery managers, project managers and analysts delivering strategic change through a blend of agile and waterfall practices, while embracing more agile methodologies. We strategically plan, prioritise and deliver D&T's diverse portfolio and manage the Digital & Technology Investment Plan for delivery of strategic change activities.
You will be reporting into the Senior Manager – D&T Delivery.
What will I be doing?
We are looking for a Delivery Coordinator who will work with strategic portfolio reporting across D&T with a focus on defining and collecting meaningful performance and delivery metrics. The role will work closely with the Senior Manager – D&T Delivery in shaping and optimising our performance reporting. The role will also provide delivery support to project managers and delivery managers working on projects, programmes and agile products.
As a Delivery Coordinator you will:
  • Build and present reporting mechanisms across the portfolio. This includes performance reporting on projects, transformation programmes, products and alignment with our organisational objectives and key results (OKRs)
  • Help define and update key measures to report on D&T operational metrics to enable data-driven decision making
  • Provide direct support to D&T Delivery team members in executing projects and ensuring and end-to-end delivery of agile products. This includes hands-on involvement in planning and execution, where you’ll apply agile and/or waterfall practices as needed
  • Support D&T Delivery team with governance and risk management activities, ensuring adherence to standards
  • Help coordinate governance meetings with scheduling, agenda planning, paper collating and ensuring follow up actions are completed

Is this job for me?
If you possess experience in strategic reporting for management information and decision-making at an executive level, then this opportunity could be a good fit for you. You will bring an understanding of how to report and measure progress effectively and you are enthusiastic about identifying opportunities to enhance reporting systems, bringing an analytical and creative approach to problem-solving.
