Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced front of house manager for our small independent restaurant in the centre of Barnsley. Med At Olana is quickly becoming one of the top restaurants in the area and we looking to expand our small team. Experience in a leadership capacity is absolutely essential for this role, you must be personable, well presented and have good base knowledge of food and drink, you will be responsible for assisting the owner/head chef in leading the small but dedicated team to deliver excellent service.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hotel environment is essential.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development and motivation.
  • Knowledge of culinary practices, food production processes, and are advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong emphasis on customer service excellence.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as required by the business needs.
