Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to lead our retail team and oversee daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive sales, optimise merchandising, and foster a positive shopping environment. Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable to enhance customer engagement across diverse communities.
Duties
- Lead, motivate, and supervise store staff to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of customer service
- Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Oversee merchandising strategies to ensure attractive product displays and stock organisation
- Implement sales initiatives and promotional activities to maximise revenue
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment
- Conduct staff training programmes to develop team skills and ensure compliance with company policies
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and courtesy
- Analyse sales data and prepare reports for senior management
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised store environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Foster a positive team culture through effective leadership and organisational skills
Requirements
- Proven management experience within retail or similar environments, including supervising teams and managing sales performance
- Strong leadership qualities with excellent organisational and time management skills
- Exceptional communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly advantageous
- Demonstrated expertise in merchandising, sales management, and administrative tasks
- Ability to motivate staff, delegate responsibilities effectively, and manage multiple priorities under pressure
- Proficiency in using retail management software and basic administrative tools
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for engaging with customers and team members alike
- Organisational skills necessary for maintaining stock levels, scheduling staff shifts, and ensuring operational efficiency
- Previous experience in retail management or related fields is preferred
