Full job description

We have a rare opportunity to add a new member of staff to our small but perfectly formed team. Aside from being a fun place to work, we offer above average rates of pay and regular set hours, plus bottomless tea refills.

This role involves working across all departments. With time and training you will have plenty of involvement in all aspects of our business: assisting customers with their purchases and giving your input with new stock orders, analysing sales and suggesting any ways we can improve as a retailer. Whilst not forgetting the little things such as dusting shelves, hoovering the shop floor and washing up all the coffee mugs!

We take pride in having a well oiled team and are looking for someone prepared to really get involved, open minded and friendly with a passion for delivering great customer service.

You will have a cv that shows experience in life. Retail experience isn’t necessary however is beneficial. We’re looking for someone who is committed and wanting a job to really settle in too. Training you will take 6 months and we hope our employees will stay for 3-4 years or more. This isn’t a role for someone who needs to fill a couple of months ,is waiting for an opportunity in another industry, or who thinks they can do this with no training, retail is complex and hard work .

We are offering 4 days a week plus alternate Sundays, which are just 11-4pm. We try to adjust rotas to suit everyone so specific days are yet to be confirmed.
