Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Risk Assessor to evaluate the safety and wellbeing of elderly clients within the community. This role involves conducting comprehensive assessments to identify potential hazards and develop personalised care plans that promote independence and safety. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of patient care and anatomy, ensuring that assessments are thorough, respectful, and tailored to individual needs. Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth risk assessments for elderly clients in their homes or community settings, focusing on safety, mobility, and health needs.
- Identify potential hazards related to environmental factors, mobility limitations, or health conditions.
- Develop customised recommendations and care plans aimed at reducing risks and enhancing quality of life.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and care workers to ensure assessments are comprehensive and actionable.
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, findings, and follow-up actions in accordance with organisational policies.
- Provide guidance on suitable modifications or interventions to improve safety within the client's environment.
- Stay informed about best practices in patient care and anatomy to ensure assessments reflect current standards.
Experience
- Prior experience in patient care or healthcare settings is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of human anatomy is beneficial for understanding physical limitations and health risks.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple assessments efficiently.
- Compassionate approach with strong communication skills to engage effectively with elderly clients and their families.
- Ability to work independently whilst maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism.

Pay: £15,000.00-£55,039.56 per year
