Job Title: Risk Site Manager (Health & Safety)

Location: SGES, Larne

Salary: £55-60k

Job Purpose:

A business-critical role ensuring compliance, reducing risk and embedding a strong safety culture at our Larne site. Working closely with site leaders and colleagues, taking hands on responsibility for developing, implementing and maintaining compliance, health and safety policies, ensuring operational excellence in a high-risk, fast-paced environment. Delivering best practice and excellence through coaching and mentoring peers and colleagues.

Essential Criteria

  • NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety
  • Previous experience managing ISO45001 accreditation
  • At least 3 years’ experience managing Health & Safety Management within a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations in UK and Ireland
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and drive on-site Health & Safety, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Identify and mitigate key risks associated with heavy plant manufacturing (e.g., machinery safety, lifting operations, working at height, noise, vibration, hazardous substances).
  • Management of risk assessments ensuring they comply with relevant legislations and regulations whilst applicable to site operations and communicated to all relevant people
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, such as World Class Manufacturing and identifying innovative ways to enhance safety performance.

Desirable

  • NEBOSH qualification in Fire Safety and Risk Assessment
  • Awareness of new digital solutions relevant to the role
  • IOSH membership
  • ISO Internal Auditor
