Overview
We are seeking a skilled (PART 1 & PART 2) and reliable Scaffold Builder to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing, installing, and dismantling scaffolding structures on various sites. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, ensuring safety and adherence to industry standards. Candidates should possess relevant construction experience and a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Duties

  • Erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding structures in accordance with safety regulations and project specifications
  • Inspect scaffolding components regularly for defects or damage and perform necessary repairs or replacements
  • Collaborate with site managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure scaffolding aligns with project requirements
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to assemble scaffolding frameworks efficiently
  • Ensure all scaffolding is secure, stable, and safe for workers at height before use
  • Follow all health and safety protocols during assembly, disassembly, and inspection processes
  • Maintain a clean work environment by organising materials and tools effectively throughout the project duration

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in carpentry, roofing, construction painting, plumbing, masonry, welding, electrical work or related trades is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
  • Knowledge of fabrication techniques relevant to scaffold construction is advantageous
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations within the construction industry
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and site plans accurately
  • Good organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Physical fitness to perform manual labour at heights and lift heavy materials safely
  • Relevant certifications or training in working at heights or scaffold safety are preferred but not essential
