Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dry Liner to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing dry lining systems in various building projects, ensuring high standards of quality and safety. Applicants should be organised, detail-oriented, and capable of working efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Duties

  • Measuring and marking out areas for dry lining installation according to plans
  • Fixing plasterboard or other lining materials to walls, ceilings, and partitions using hand tools and power tools
  • Taping, jointing, and finishing dry lining surfaces to achieve a smooth, professional finish
  • Installing insulation materials where required before fixing the lining boards
  • Assisting with the fabrication and cutting of materials to fit specific spaces or shapes
  • Working alongside other trades such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers to ensure seamless integration of building systems
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations at all times

Experience

  • Proven experience in dry lining or related construction trades such as plastering, carpentry, or masonry is highly essential
  • Familiarity with roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical systems, and construction painting is advantageous
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment in a construction setting
  • Knowledge of technical drawings relevant to dry lining installation
  • Ability to interpret construction plans accurately and work from detailed specifications
  • Previous exposure to working with masonry or performing construction-related tasks involving scaffolding or working at heights is beneficial
