We are seeking a skilled Scaffold Supervisor to join our team. As a Scaffold Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the assembling & dismantling of the scaffolding structures to provide safe working platforms for various construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine the specifications and materials required for scaffolding construction
- Erect scaffolding structures according to safety standards and project requirements
- Secure scaffolding to buildings or structures using ropes, cables, or fasteners
- Ensure scaffolding is plumb and level using spirit levels and other tools
- Inspect scaffolding for defects or damage and make necessary repairs or replacements
- Dismantle scaffolding structures after project completion
Carry out scaffold inspections
Skills:
- Proficient in fabricating and constructing scaffolding structures.
- Familiarity with power tools such as drills, saws, and nail guns
- Ability to work with various materials including wood, metal, and concrete
- Basic understanding of carpentry techniques for measuring, cutting, and shaping materials
- Knowledge of masonry techniques for securing scaffolding to buildings or structures
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
