Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial premises. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering quality service. The successful candidate will contribute to creating a safe, welcoming, and professional environment for clients and staff alike.

Duties

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of designated areas
  • Clean and sanitise restrooms, and communal spaces to ensure compliance with health and safety standards
  • Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
  • Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
  • Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishing
  • Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning activities
  • Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries

Skills

  • Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is highly desirable
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently and thoroughly under time constraints
  • Good organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of safe handling and use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness

This position is ideal for motivated individuals seeking a rewarding role in maintaining clean and hygienic environments. Prior experience in janitorial services or commercial cleaning will be considered an advantage. Due to the rural location, a full drivers licence and reliable transport is required. Ideally looking to employ within the local area, within an 8 Miles radius of Tarporley CW6

Expected hours: 9 – 18 per week
