Pre School Room Leader – Level 3 Qualified

Location: Shooting Stars Nursery, 132 Monyhull Hall Road, Kings Norton, B30 3QJ
Salary: £14.60 per hour | £30,368 per annum
Contract Type: Full-Time | 40 hours/week | Monday to Friday
Hours: 7:30am–6:00pm | All year round | Closed on bank holidays

We’re now looking for a passionate and experienced early years Pre School Room Leader to join our Kings Norton team.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a confident, qualified early years professional who can lead a room with energy, creativity, and care.

Essential Requirements:

  • Level 3 or above full and relevant Early Years qualification
  • Experience working in a children’s day nursery
  • Room Leader or Team Leader experience
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS, Safeguarding procedures, and SEND support
  • Ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, child-centric care

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead your room and support your team to deliver outstanding early years education
  • Act as a Key Person and build strong partnerships with parents/carers
  • Ensure your room meets all EYFS and safeguarding standards
  • Create a warm, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
  • Support and mentor practitioners to grow and develop professionally
