Full job description

PPS Logistics is looking for self-employed Class 1 Drivers to join our growing team, operating from our Cumbernauld or Kilmarnock depot and delivering across Scotland.

This role is Monday to Friday, offering a minimum of 25 hours per week. While primarily Class 1 work, the role may occasionally include Class 2 and 3.5t runs depending on business needs.

Pay: £17.17 per hour


What the Role Involves:

✔ Collections & deliveries across Scotland’s
✔ Dropping off trailers for PMI and other operational needs
✔ Use of electronic POD and modern technology (full training provided)
✔ Ensuring secure loading and safe transportation

Requirements

  • Full UK C+E licence (Class 1)
  • 12 months Class 1 driving experience (less may be considered)
  • Maximum of 6 points on licence (No DR, DG, CD, MS, TT, or TS endorsements)
  • Good knowledge of driver hours & WTD regulations
  • Willing to work on a self-employed basis
  • Strong customer service & communication skills
  • Hardworking & motivated in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic English-speaking skills
