Full job description

Triton Risk Management are looking to recruit fully-licensed SIA Door Supervisors to join our expanding operation in Newcastle and surrounding areas.

We are actively inviting candidates to submit applications to join our expanding team of professional security operatives, who share our company values and commitment to delivering specialist security outcomes.

The work involved will be a mix of both Night-Time Economy and Festivals, Stadia and Events. Other ad-hoc work supporting our Enhanced Manned Guarding projects is similarly available for the right individuals.

The responsibilities of Door Supervisor will include, but are not limited to:

  • Greeting and welcoming customers into the venue(s), as well as assessing their intoxication levels and challenging/refusing those who appear intoxicated.
  • Ensuring that all customers that appear under the age of 25 present their ID in line with the Challenge 25 - Proof-of-Age Policy.
  • Conduct such searches on bags and on persons as are necessary to prevent the introduction of drugs, alcohol or other such prohibited items into the venue.
  • Monitor crowd behaviour to ensure that patrons do not engage in any threatening or violent behaviour towards others.
  • Remove such individuals who occasion or cause harm, whether this be physical or mental, to others within the venue and/or themselves.
  • Work closely with the venue's management to ensure that customers have a safe and enjoyable experience whilst in/on the premises.

All candidates will be required to undergo screening to British Standard 7858.

All individuals will be employed on a PAYE basis and must have access to their own transportation, so that they can make their own way to and from shift. These positions are for operatives working in the Night-Time Economy, so public transport is unlikely to be usable.

Experience is preferred but not necessary. All employees are eligible for 28 days equivalent of holiday pay accrued on a pro-rata basis. We do not administer rolled-up holiday pay.
