Site Supervisor

Job description
St Wilfrid’s Academy are looking to appoint a Site Supervisor to join our academy in as soon as possible on a permanent full time basis.

Do you want to work for a Trust that is transforming educational outcomes for students in some of the most deprived areas in the North of England? If so, this could be the role for you.

Your new role

As a Site Supervisor, you will provide general maintenance, cleaning, and security services for the Academy, ensuring all checks are appropriately logged on the Trust’s electronic reporting system.

Please see the attached job description on our website for the essential criteria and more information about the role.

If you feel you have the necessary skills and experience required for this position, then we would very much like to hear from you.

Your new school

St Wilfrid’s Academy is an all-through (KS2-4) alternative provision that provides high quality assessment, education and support for children and young people who, for a variety of reasons, are unable to access mainstream curriculum education and require a bespoke package. Our educational offer combines a core curriculum with a range of vocational packages to support students successfully into post-16 pathways. Alongside our academic offer, we also provide a wide range of therapeutic interventions to aid students with their emotional and mental wellbeing and reengagement with education. If you are interested in working within an inclusive school, supporting the most vulnerable students to reach their full potential, St Wilfrid's offers this opportunity.

The latest Ofsted grading (December 2019) showed the school to be ‘Good’ with ‘Outstanding’ Personal Development, and St Wilfrid's Academy won the IQM 'National Champion of Inclusion Award' 2023/24.

Why join us?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an outstanding team within a high-performing multi academy trust with exciting career prospects for successful applicants.

As a Trust, we have developed an extensive range of employee benefits that focus on your Financial, Physical and Mental Wellbeing. Here are just a few examples in each area…

Financial Wellbeing:
  • Membership to either the Teachers’ Pension Scheme or the Local Government Pension Scheme
  • Technology scheme and Vehicle Leasing Scheme*
  • Access to an extensive discounts platform

Physical Wellbeing:
  • 24/7 access to an online GP or Advanced Nurse Practitioner for you & your household
  • Gym & fitness discounts
  • Cycle to Work scheme*
  • Free annual flu jab

Mental Wellbeing:
  • Access to an industry-leading Employee Assistance Programme
  • Menopause Support Service
  • Trained Mental Health First Aiders in all our settings
  • Subject to ensuring NMW is maintained

Holiday Entitlement: minimum 35 days (subject to pro rata if working part-time and dependent upon salary and continuous service) including statutory Bank Holidays.

In accordance with DfE Keeping Children Safe in Education, an online search will be completed on all shortlisted applicants prior to interview. Any relevant information will be discussed further with the applicant during the recruitment process.
