About Bath Demolition Ltd
Bath Demolition Ltd is a professional demolition contractor carrying out demolition, soft strip, dismantling, site clearance, and enabling works across the South West. Bath Demolition Ltd is looking for an experienced demolition supervisor to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising demolition works on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with company procedures, client requirements, and current health and safety legislation. This is a supervisory role suited to someone with strong managerial experience, good communication skills, and the ability to manage site teams, subcontractors, plant, and daily site activities.
Key Responsibilities
The Supervisor will be responsible for:
- Supervising demolition, soft strip, structural dismantling, and site clearance works.
- Managing operatives and subcontractors on site.
- Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with RAMS, demolition plans, lift plans, temporary works requirements, and site rules.
- Carrying out daily briefings, toolbox talks, and task-specific instructions.
- Monitoring health, safety, environmental, and quality standards on site.
- Ensuring exclusion zones, signage, edge protection, dust suppression, and traffic management arrangements are maintained.
- Coordinating plant, labour, waste movements, and deliveries.
- Completing daily site records, permits, inspections, and progress reports.
- Reporting any incidents, near misses, defects, delays, or changes in site conditions to management.
- Liaising with contracts managers, clients, principal contractors, and other trades.
- Ensuring materials are segregated correctly and waste is handled responsibly.
- Promoting a positive safety culture across all site activities.
Requirements
Applicants should have:
- Valid SSSTS/ SMSTS
- Proven experience supervising medium to large projects.
- Strong understanding of construction or demolition methods, sequencing, and site safety.
- Good knowledge of RAMS and safe systems of work.
- Ability to manage operatives and subcontractors effectively.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Reliability, professionalism, and a practical approach to problem-solving.

Working Hours
Monday to Friday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM on site
(Occasional weekend or out-of-hours work may be required for specific project phases)
