Location: Stockport-Trafford-South Manchester
Pay: 95 - 120 per day
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm

TeachMatch are looking for dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistants to join one of our supportive and inclusive schools in Stockport, Trafford or South Manchester. This will be a full-time role, working closely with class teachers and the SEND team to provide tailored support that helps pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
You'll play a key part in creating a nurturing learning environment where every student feels valued, supported, and able to achieve their potential. Alongside the school team, you will also be responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Key Responsibilities
Support individual pupils or small groups with additional learning needs
Follow and support delivery of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
Encourage a positive and inclusive classroom culture
Assist with classroom management and learning activities
Provide personal care or behaviour support when required
Requirements
Minimum 6 months experience working within a UK school or educational setting
Experience supporting children with SEND (preferred but not essential)
A caring, patient, and proactive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Valid DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply
