Domestic Assistants Responsibilities Include but are not limited to

  • Keeping all areas of the home, including all toilets. This includes washing, dusting, polishing, vacuum cleaning and sweeping as appropriate
  • Ensuring that all cleaning equipment and materials are maintained in a safe, clean and efficient working condition
  • Report any required repairs to the Administrator
  • Wear protective clothing in accordance to COSHH and Health and Hygiene regulations
  • Maintain a suitable stock of suitable cleaning materials
  • Sorting washing, loading and unloading the machines taking care to use the correct temperatures depending on type of fabric
  • Sluicing of linen where necessary, hand washing of residents clothing as required
  • Ironing and pressing of clothing and linen when necessary
  • Sorting and folding residents clothes

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 32 per week
