Full job description

We would like to appoint Careers Advisers who will take responsibility and accountability for the delivery of the Trust’s careers education and guidance programme. Both full and part time positions will be considered

This is a wonderful opportunity for passionate Careers Advisers to join a growing Trust with an established staff body, and a strong department with a good spread of experience

This role is for a committed and motivated professional who would like to work within a Trust that provides a wealth of opportunities for both its students and staff, along with wanting to be part of a friendly, team-based workforce.

As a Careers Adviser, you will be required to work term time only plus an additional few days on results day.

The post is paid on VIAT 7 /8 Points 28 – 37 which equates to an actual salary of £26,534 - £34,530 FTE (£31,801 - £41,385) dependent on experience

Information about the school

The Valley Invicta Academies Trust is a Multi Academy Trust, based in Maidstone, Kent. The Trust is a family of primary and secondary schools which work in partnership to provide nothing less than outstanding education for all our young people. Presently the Trust is responsible for five primary schools and three secondary schools:

VIAT Primary Schools

Valley Invicta Primary School at Aylesford, Valley Invicta Primary School at Holborough Lakes, Valley Invicta Primary School at Kings Hill, Valley Invicta Primary School at Leybourne Chase and Valley Invicta Primary School at Eastborough which has recently joined the Trust.

VIAT Secondary Schools

Invicta Grammar School, Valley Park School and The Lenham School. The Lenham School became a member of the Trust this year joining Invicta Grammar School, the highest performing “non super selective” school in Kent and Valley Park School, the highest performing non-selective school in Kent.
