Full job description

Join our team and help ensure the smooth running of examinations at Truro and Penwith College.

We are looking for individuals able to work at Truro campus and/or Bodmin campus.

We are looking for a reliable and conscientious individual to work as an Exams Invigilator.

In this role, you will support the Exams Officer by ensuring all exams are conducted in line with Awarding Body regulations and College procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise students during exams, maintaining a calm and compliant environment.
  • Distribute and collect exam papers and materials accurately.
  • Complete attendance registers and display exam timings.
  • Report any discrepancies or irregularities during exams.
  • Attend annual invigilator training provided by the College.

What We’re Looking For

  • Good communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure and follow strict procedures.
  • Previous experience in education or exams is an advantage but not essential.
  • A professional, student-focused approach.
