Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Community Care Workers to provide high-quality support and assistance to individuals in their homes and care facilities. The successful candidates will play a vital role in promoting independence, safety, and well-being for clients of all ages, including seniors and those with special needs. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives through personalised care and support.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation
- Provide specialised care for individuals with Alzheimer's, dementia, or other cognitive impairments
- Support patients with medication administration and health monitoring in accordance with care plans
- Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation
- Assist with light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Drive clients to appointments, social activities, or errands as required
- Manage behaviour effectively through compassionate care and behaviour management techniques
- Support clients with activities of daily living in assisted living or home care settings
- Respond promptly to emergency situations using first aid skills when necessary
Requirements
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of patient care, hospice care, and caregiving best practices
- Experience with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and behavioural management techniques
- Valid driving licence with a clean driving record is preferred
- First aid certification or willingness to undertake training upon hire
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients effectively
- Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, or weekends as needed

Pay: £12.21-£12.44 per hour
