Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Community Care Workers to provide high-quality support and assistance to individuals in their homes and care facilities. The successful candidates will play a vital role in promoting independence, safety, and well-being for clients of all ages, including seniors and those with special needs. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation
• Provide specialised care for individuals with Alzheimer's, dementia, or other cognitive impairments
• Support patients with medication administration and health monitoring in accordance with care plans
• Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation
• Assist with light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment
• Drive clients to appointments, social activities, or errands as required
• Manage behaviour effectively through compassionate care and behaviour management techniques
• Support clients with activities of daily living in assisted living or home care settings
• Respond promptly to emergency situations using first aid skills when necessary

Requirements

• Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care environments is highly desirable
• Knowledge of patient care, hospice care, and caregiving best practices
• Experience with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and behavioural management techniques
• Valid driving licence with a clean driving record is preferred
• First aid certification or willingness to undertake training upon hire
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients effectively
• Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills
• Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, or weekends as needed

Pay: £12.21-£12.44 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 25 per week
