Help Shape the Future of Specialist Lipedema Care in the UK in a Full-time or Part-time Role
Join a pioneering specialist centre and play a supporting role in establishing one of the UK's leading clinics for lipedema treatment. We are seeking an experienced Consultant Surgeon (m/f/d)who combines clinical excellence with a passion for delivering life-changing patient care. Your mission

  • Deliver high-quality surgical care to patients throughout their treatment journey
  • Conduct consultations, clinical assessments, treatment planning and follow-up care
  • Perform specialised surgical procedures in accordance with established clinical protocols and best practice standards
  • Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary medical and administrative team
  • Contribute to the development of clinical pathways, governance processes and quality standards
  • Support the growth and strategic development of specialised lipedema services in the UK
  • Participate in professional networking, educational activities and knowledge exchange within our European expert network
  • Contribute to innovation and the continuous enhancement of patient outcomes and clinical services
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing team to support patient education initiatives, brand awareness activities, social media engagement and the promotion of specialised lipedema services
  • Help create an exceptional patient experience within a private healthcare environment

Your profile

  • GMC-registered Consultant Surgeon, or a Specialist Surgeon eligible for GMC registration and practice in the UK (m/f/d)
  • Ideally, a Consultant Plastic Surgeon with proven experience in liposuction procedures
  • Strong surgical background with a proven commitment to clinical excellence and patient safety
  • Interest in specialised lipedema treatment and innovative patient care models
  • Ability to combine clinical expertise with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Interest in service development and contributing to the growth of a specialist centre
  • Fluent English language skills
  • Willingness to travel within the UK
  • High level of empathy, professionalism and patient focus
