Location: Skipton, North Yorkshire

If so, we are looking for you.

We are looking for a Business Support Administrator to provide support to one of our seven countywide Highways depots.

The role

As a Business Support Administrator, you will provide support to the operational team based in the Highways depot in Skipton. This is a varied and rewarding role which can include meeting and greeting visitors/contractors, processing licences/permits, data input, monitoring the generic email account, building related H&S tasks, dealing with customer enquiries. A knowledge of the local area would be beneficial for plotting and interrogating our network mapping system.

This is a hybrid role, being mainly office based, with some home working, on a rota basis.

This is a great introduction to how the Business Support and operational teams work together to keep the highway network safe for the local community and is a fantastic opportunity to develop knowledge and understanding of the service that we provide.

What you will bring:

To be successful you must be able to demonstrate good use of computer packages, have excellent customer service and organisational skills, and have the ability to problem solve.

You must respect the need for confidentiality of personal information and have knowledge of Data Protection (GDPR), Equalities and Health and Safety requirements of working within an office environment.
