Talos: Institutional Fabric for the Digital Asset Market
Founded in 2018, Talos provides institutional-grade trading technology for the global digital asset market, powering many of the major players in the crypto ecosystem.
Our mission at Talos is clear: to advance the mass adoption of digital assets by seamlessly connecting institutions to the digital asset ecosystem. We are committed to building the most innovative and trusted platform in the world, supporting the entire trading lifecycle.
At Talos, you'll find an environment that champions kindness and respect, values diverse perspectives, and upholds inclusivity at every turn. We believe that every member of our team adds invaluable insights and abilities that drive Talos forward. In our pursuit of excellence, we foster a culture of trust and integrity, collaboration, and mutual growth. Together, we are ambitiously building something extraordinary. Your unique talents and insights will play a crucial role in our shared success.
We are a tight-knit but decentralized team of highly-experienced engineers and businesspeople. We have a hybrid-friendly work environment, with physical hubs in New York, London, Singapore, Sweden and Cyprus.
We’re Hiring: Senior Manager, People Team
As a Senior Manager on the People Team, you will act as a trusted partner and advisor to Talos leaders and employees across our EMEA region, ensuring that Talos remains a great place to work while driving organizational effectiveness. You’ll bring deep expertise in London employment practices and broader EMEA employment law, applying this knowledge to guide managers, support employees, and shape thoughtful people programs.
In this role, you will own key elements of the employee lifecycle — from onboarding and orientation to performance management, employee relations, and exit processes — always with a focus on building a positive employee experience. You will collaborate with leaders to align people strategies with business goals, proactively addressing challenges, and driving initiatives that foster growth, development, and high performance. Your work will blend operational excellence with creativity, empathy, and forward-thinking, ensuring Talos continues to thrive as a fast-paced, innovative technology company.
Responsibilities and Duties
-
Serve as an advisor to managers and employees across Europe, providing counsel on performance management, career development, and employee relations.
-
Partner with leaders to implement people programs, processes, and tools that align with business priorities and enable team success.
-
Lead performance management cycles and performance conversations, ensuring fairness, clarity, and developmental outcomes.
-
Support and, at times, lead employee relations matters, including investigations, in partnership with the global People team.
-
Monitor HR reports and metrics to identify trends, provide insights, and recommend innovative solutions.
-
Proactively identify opportunities for manager and employee development, leveraging regular 1:1s and check-ins.
-
Ensure compliance with London employment practices and, where applicable, other EMEA labor laws and regulations.
-
Use insights and data to create a consistent and engaging employee experience.
-
Champion Talos’ culture and values, working to make Talos a great place to work for every team member.
Qualifications
-
7+ years of experience in Human Resources, with at least 5+ years in an HR Business Partner or generalist capacity.
-
Expertise in London employment practices; knowledge of employment law across other EMEA jurisdictions is a plus.
-
Proven experience supporting managers and employees in a fast-paced, high-growth technology company.
-
Strong track record of advising leaders, resolving employee relations matters, and leading HR programs end-to-end.
-
Passionate about understanding business goals and building people solutions that drive growth and innovation.
-
High emotional intelligence (EQ), empathy, and excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
-
Experienced across a broad set of HR disciplines, including, learning & development, performance management, policies, and organizational effectiveness.
-
Forward-thinking, adaptable, and comfortable with ambiguity, bringing creativity to problem-solving.
-
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
-
Trusted partner with the ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate outstanding judgment.
Benefits
You will also enjoy a comprehensive array of competitive benefits, regardless of your location, within our warm, welcoming, and ambitious company culture. Our offerings include a monthly wellness credit for personal use, such as gym memberships, massages, or even a ski pass for your next holiday. Additionally, we provide paid lunches in the office, monthly fitness and evening socials to foster connections with colleagues, and annual offsite events to engage with the wider team.
