Full job description

We are currently recruiting for a Level 2 or above Sen support Practitioner at The Rowans Day Nursery in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham.

If you are passionate about pursuing a career in childcare, and want to work along side an 'Outstanding' team then we want to hear from you.

This is a 30 hour position and term time only. You must be able to work shifts between 9am and 4pm Wages are negotiable dependent on experience.

Essential Skills:

Excellent Knowledge of the EYFS and BCC safeguarding procedures

Excellent communication and ICT skills

We will expect a minimum of two references

A full Enhanced DBS Check.

Desirable Skills:

2 years experience of working in early years

First Aid trained

SENCO training

Your day to day responsibilities include:

  • Welcoming children & their families
  • Planning activities for your room
  • Ensuring the individual children's you are supporting are able to join in with resources around them
  • Assist with self care routines
  • Giving feed back at the end of the day
  • Completing daily online monitoring and learning journals for your key children
  • Providing a loving, safe and fun environment for all the children.
