Full job description

Role Summary

To provide professional and efficient administrative and people support to the HR Manager, our colleagues, and visitors to our site, ensuring internal and external customer service excellence.

Core Duties/Responsibilities

Manage recruitment – draft Job vacancies, review job descriptions, place vacancy adverts (including company website, internally, external job boards and agencies as a last resort. Arrange interviews, send out job offers, arrange inductions and associated paperwork including completion of right to work checks

· Support with Return to work, investigation and Exit interviews

· Ensure colleague personnel files are kept up to date and complete

· Work with Payroll to ensure annual leave, sickness, new starters and leavers are recorded correctly

· Assist with the organisation of training

· Issue letters as directed by the HR Manager

· Ensure ER tracker is kept up to date

· Logging Training hours

· Ensure all outgoing post in franked and ready for postal collection

· Order and maintain stationary supplies. Order & Stock control of PPE & booking in of stock arrivals on Radius

· Ensure reception area is opened and closed each day

· Answer switchboard calls and direct the call as necessary, taking messages if recipient unavailable

· Greet visitors in reception – ensure they sign in and complete health screening if required. Provide refreshments if requested – ensuring alternative cover for times of annual leave.

· Take receipt of deliveries, contacting the recipients to collect from reception

· Completion of monthly HR analytic reports

· Report any issues with vending machines

· Ordering of food for meetings

· Ordering of flowers for reception & fruit for canteens

· Administration of company HRIS and benefits schemes – including the organisation of timely medicals

· Understand your responsibilities to maintain a safe working environment.

· Any other duties to meet the needs of the business
