Full job description

The Kelly Group is expanding our high-performing team delivering exceptional fibre installation services on our CityFibre contract — and we want skilled professionals like you.

Whether your accreditations are fully in date or previously held, if you have solid experience across the fibre network, we’d love to hear from you.

As a key part of our engineering team, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Installing fibre services at customer premises across the Openreach network
  • Working safely at heights and within the underground network
  • Conducting thorough testing at multiple stages to diagnose and resolve customer faults
  • Delivering high-quality work independently or within a team to meet targets and KPIs
  • Following all Health & Safety guidelines and operational procedures

Accreditations such as SA001, SA002, S007, S008 and Streetworks are highly desirable. Engineers who have previously held these and can refresh are also encouraged to apply.

What We are looking for:

We’re looking for fibre professionals who are:

  • Safety-focused with a strong understanding of network best practice
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all conditions across regional UK areas
  • Confident using smart devices, digital work instructions and modern fault-finding tech
  • Highly organised with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to prioritise a busy workload and maintain exceptional attention to detail
  • Comfortable working at heights up to 15m
  • Hold a full UK manual driving licence (12+ months, max 6 points)
