Overview
Join our festive team as Santa on board the North Pole Express. This role involves engaging with guests, performing cheerful activities, and spreading holiday cheer in a lively, joyful environment. Ideal candidates will have a passion for spreading happiness and embody the spirit of Christmas.

Duties

  • Welcome visitors with warmth and enthusiasm, ensuring they feel part of the festive celebration
  • Lead holiday-themed activities, games, and storytelling sessions for children and families
  • Perform engaging dance routines or festive skits to entertain guests
  • Assist in organising holiday events and decorating the venue to create a vibrant Christmas atmosphere
  • Interact with children and adults alike, fostering a joyful environment through effective public speaking and communication skills
  • Teach simple holiday crafts or songs to groups of visitors, encouraging participation and fun
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and presentation, embodying the cheerful spirit of Christmas at all times

Requirements

  • Must be aged 18 of over
  • Experience or interest in dancing, immersive theatre or working with children
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage audiences of all ages
  • Friendly, approachable personality with a genuine enthusiasm for festive activities
  • Ability to work well as part of a team in a lively environment
  • Flexibility to work during weekends and evenings during the holiday season
  • Previous experience in entertainment or event roles is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
  • Must be organised, reliable, and able to maintain high energy levels throughout shifts

Pay

  • £15 per hour during training and then £25 once trained
