Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Muay Thai Instructor to lead dynamic training sessions and inspire students of all skill levels. In this role, you will deliver engaging martial arts classes rooted in the traditional art of Muay Thai, focusing on technique, fitness, discipline, and confidence-building. Your enthusiasm and expertise will motivate participants to achieve their personal best while fostering a positive and supportive environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to share your love for martial arts and help others unlock their full potential.

Duties

  • Design and deliver comprehensive Muay Thai training sessions tailored to various skill levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners
  • Teach proper techniques, stances, strikes, clinching, and defensive maneuvers in accordance with traditional Muay Thai principles
  • Monitor students’ progress, provide constructive feedback, and adjust training plans to meet individual goals
  • Promote safety by ensuring proper use of equipment and enforcing class rules to prevent injuries
  • Inspire motivation and discipline through energetic coaching, encouraging participants to push their limits
  • Maintain a clean and organized training area, including equipment setup and sanitation after classes
  • Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that promotes respect, teamwork, and personal growth

Requirements

  • Professional Muay Thai Fight experience (A Class/Full Thai Rules)
  • Proven sports coaching experience, preferably in martial arts or combat sports such as Muay Thai or kickboxing
  • Strong teaching skills with the ability to communicate techniques clearly and motivate diverse groups of students
  • Deep knowledge of Muay Thai techniques, history, and cultural significance
  • Ability to demonstrate proper form and safety procedures during training sessions
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly yet disciplined approach
  • Certification or relevant training in martial arts instruction is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain necessary certifications is a plus
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed
