ODP/Scrub Nurse - Plastic/ Cosmetic - Up to £43,000 - Private Cosmetic Clinic - Full time - West London

Join this well-established Private Cosmetic Surgery Hospital located in West London. They pride themselves on providing top-tier cosmetic surgery services with a focus on patient care and surgical excellence.

Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Scrub Nurse to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on cosmetic surgery.

ODP/Scrub Nurse Key Responsibilities

  • Operating Theatre Preparation: Ensure the operating theatre is fully sterilised and prepared for procedures
  • Equipment Preparation: Prepare and organise necessary equipment for surgeries
  • Sterilisation: Sterilise materials, gloves, and gowns
  • Inventory Counts: Perform initial counts of sponges, instruments, and needles
  • Team Coordination: Liaise with other nurse teams throughout the surgical process
  • Post-Surgery Care: Assist with dressing wounds and preparing the patient for the recovery room
  • Surgical Assistance: Assist the surgeon throughout the procedure with various tasks

ODP/Scrub Nurse Requirements

  • Qualifications: Formal nursing qualifications are required
  • Experience: Must have experience with WHO checklists, team briefings, and strong communication skills
  • Flexibility: Must live locally and be flexible to cover shifts as per the rota. On-call duties after the surgical list are also required
  • Shift Patterns: Shifts start at either 7 am or 9 am
